Katie Porter Is Fine With Republicans Having Nightmares About Her (INTERVIEW WITH sAMANTHA BEE)

“Are you exhausted from appearing in every Republican’s nightmares?” Bee asked Porter during a video-streamed interview. Porter nonchalantly replied, “No, that’s a very comfortable role for me.” And, with a deadpan expression, she added, “If you’re full of bullshit, I’m coming for ya. I just don’t have time. I’m a single mom. The dinner’s burning. I’m late to something. I have 4,000 emails. My hair is frizzy. I haven’t shaved my legs in a week. No bullshit.”

HOME SICK

I’ve been home sick. Not with THAT virus – but another one that also sucks in great big ways. So this blog is a little late today. SORRY!

I called my Dr. to see if I needed to get the Covid-19 test, but because I didn’t meet any of the travel markers and my fever never got over 100 degrees, they said I didn’t have to. They said I could come in to the office to see a Dr. – not MY Dr. as she was out for 2 weeks – but I declined as I didn’t want to harbour MY virus as well as any other one that people were bringing in. Since we don’t really know what I had, and I’m still trying to get rid of it, I think I’m going to call it the SFINCH-20 virus. Yeah…that’s the ticket!

These Tiny Plastic-Eating Caterpillars May Be The Next Environmental Heroes

EWWWWWWWWW! But rock on, waxworm caterpillers…we need you!

What do you get when you have a President who doesn’t give a f&%* about the country’s citizens? You get a president who doesn’t want to tell the truth about Covid-19 because he’s going to run his coming campaign on the economy and the truth would make the stock markets tank…BIG TIME. Well, guess what…they’re tanking anyway. This morning (Monday, 3/9/20) the Stock Market had to shut down to throttle back on over 7% losses in a very short time period. Buckle your seat belts, friends. 2020 is going to be a VERY bumpy ride.

You also get an administration who was trying to downplay the virus when it started so that people wouldn’t realize how really bad it was, is, and is going to be. The only reason the United States is at such a low number of people confirmed to have the virus is because they’re not giving the states enough tests to do testing on a larger swath of people. The reality of how many people are actually confirmed it probably much, much higher.
